C-33 Washed Sand (Surface Footing)

Pros: This material provides a good surface as it drains well and does not create much dust.

Crumb Rubber

Pros: This material provides some cushion. This is easier on horses joint issues and will soften the fall of young riders.

Cons: This material can be expensive. There are many levels of quality crumb rubber. This does not drain as well as C-33 sand or #10 stone dust

#10 size stone dust

Pros: This material is resistant to erosion and dust. Relatively low maintenance..

Cons: This is hard on horse joints .
